Vattenfall denies deprioritizing offshore wind
Over the past two months, Vattenfall’s offshore wind pipeline has been on the decline. In early December, an agreement was reached with BASF to sell 49% of the two 1.6 GW Nordenlicht offshore wind projects in Germany several years before construction, while the largest asset in the Swedes’ offshore wind portfolio, the 4.2GW Norfolk cluster, was sold to RWE a few weeks later.
