There will be a change in the board of directors at the wind turbine manufacturer Vestas in connection with the upcoming annual general meeting on April 9 at the headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.

Bruce Harvey Grant and Kentaro Hosomi have announced that they do not wish to be re-elected. Instead, the board proposes two new members - American William (Bill) Fehrman and Danish Henriette Hallberg Thygesen.

William (Bill) Fehrman has in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy industry in North America, which is Vestas’ largest market. Prior to his transition to a board career, he was most recently CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Energy from 2018 to 2023.

Henriette Hallberg Thygesen has a long-standing career at Maersk - most recently from 2023 until 2024 as Chief Delivery Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee. In January, however, she announced her departure from Maersk.
