Arctic floating wind project secures NOK 2bn grant

The Goliat Wind demonstration project has received up to NOK 2bn (EUR 175m) in funding from Enova. This is crucial for putting Norway on the map, says developer behind the project.

The Norwegian demonstration project Goliat Vind, where floating offshore wind turbines will be used in connection with the Goliat oil platform in the Barents Sea, will receive up to NOK 2bn (EUR 175m) in funding from Enova, the state environment and climate authority announced on Friday.
