Blade manufacturer terminates contract with Siemens Gamesa

This is the latest in a number of setbacks for Siemens Gamesa in Brazil.

Three years ago, Siemens Gamesa signed a massive framework agreement with Brazilian blade manufacturer Aeris. With a contract value of BRL 3bn (EUR 548m) the Brazilians were to build blades for turbines with a total capacity of 3.8 GW by 2025.
