Hitachi Energy to invest USD 1.5bn in transformer production

The investments will significantly expand current capacity and span Europe, America and Asia.

Expected growing demand and a desire to support long-term electrification plans will lead Hitachi Energy to invest USD 1.5bn in transformer production in several markets, the company writes in a press release.
