Danish wind supplier Nordmark is looking for a new CEO.

After ten years in the position, Morten Mørk is stepping down as the company’s chief exec, according to a press release from Nordmark.

However, Mørk is not cutting all ties to the company, of which he owns 35%. He will retain his significant ownership stake and take a seat on the company’s board of directors.

”The board would like to thank Morten for his significant contribution as CEO. Morten has tirelessly contributed to making Nordmark a good and successful workplace. During his tenure, the company has achieved a position as a leading supplier to the wind industry’s largest global manufacturers of offshore and onshore wind turbines,” the statement reads.

A successor has not yet been found for the position. Until one is found, the company’s CFO Jeppe Højmark will act as interim CEO.

Nordmark processes large workpieces of up to 120 tons, which are then sold on to the wind sector in particular. Nordmark made a profit of DKK 38m (EUR 5.1m) in its latest financial year 2023.
