Danish Energy Minister says shared financing framework for large energy projects "unrealistic before 2030"

Despite diplomatic lobbying, Energy Minister Lars Aagaard says there is a long way to go before a joint financing deal is reached on projects with a cross-border impact.

It will take several years before there is any real clarification on how energy projects such as Energy Island Bornholm and Nordsø can be financed at an acceptable risk to the Danish treasury, the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard acknowledges this in an interview with EnergyWatch.
