Vestas still waiting on huge Egyptian deal
On several occasions, a memorandum of understanding for wind turbines of 2.2 GW in Egypt seemed like it was just around the corner for Vestas. But so far nothing has happened. "Sometimes things take longer than you expect," says the wind giant.
At the end of August, Vestas shares kicked into overdrive with reports of a nearly-sealed deal in Egypt for 2.2 GW.
