Vattenfall poised to follow Dong into the US

Over decades, Dong Energy has enjoyed success as a first mover on new offshore wind markets. This has sparked envy at Swedish competitor Vattenfall, which is strongly considering following its Danish rival into the budding US offshore market.

Dong Energy could soon be joined by its biggest competitor on offshore wind when launching its entry into the US market.

Sweden's Vattenfall, which over the past year has mounted a challenge against the Danish energy company within offshore wind, is seriously considering entering into the fresh US market.
