Danish wind COO to set new standards in China

From next year, the COO of Vindmølleindustrien (Danish Wind Industry Association), Jakob Lau Holst, will take the reins as the new CEO of the Global Wind Organization (GWO). This organization has a global aim – albeit slightly less far-reaching than the name may imply – and counts members such as Vestas, Siemens, GE and developers including Dong and Eon. The target is to create and develop common standards for safety training in the industry.
