Netherlands to expand offshore wind by 1 GW annually

A new plan could give the Dutch over 10 GW of offshore wind in 2030.

The country is still waiting to approve the concrete policy, which could open up huge licensing rounds, writes Recharge.

The policy is expected to be introduced next year, so the first 1 GW tender can begin in 2020.
