Vestas announces the smallest order of the year in the US

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer will add about 2.24 percent to the list of US orders announced this year.

Vestas has won an order for 42 MW on a project in the US, reveals the turbine producer in a statement.

42 MW is not necessarily a small victory - it corresponds to about half of the total amount of new turbines installed in Vestas' homeland of Denmark this year. However given that the order was placed in the US, it does come across as more modest.
