
Last week, Canada's Alterra Power announced the Flat Top project in Texas. But the 200 MW wind farm, which the company says will be rigged with Vestas turbines, is not the only project from 2016 for the energy company. Alterra snatched up projects under the full PTC tax subsidy scheme for 1.2 to 1.7 GW by the scheme's deadline at the turn of the year, writes the company.
"We've made significant progress this year stocking our pipeline with early and late-stage development projects," says Alterra CEO, John Carson, who does not expect business this year to slow down.
