Siemens lays off 150 employees in Denmark

Seven percent of the staff at a blade factory in Danish city Aalborg will be fired, confirms Siemens.

Wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Wind Power will lay off 150 employees at its blade factory in Aalborg, Denmark. The layoffs will happen in two rounds, with one half effectively laid off from Feb. 1 and the other round to take effect April 1, writes Danish media Nordjyske.

Siemens has confirmed this information to EnergyWatch.
