Pension fund makes good returns on wind

Investments in wind turbines and other renewable technology has ensured positive returns for Danish pension fund PKA.

Investments beyond the financial markets have helped increase returns for the pension fund PKA, which made solid profits in 2016 by divesting its wind power investments.

The pension fund thus exits 2016 with returns of DKK 17.5 billion (EUR 2.35 billion) which corresponds to 8.8 percent, writes PKA. The fund invests pensions for nurses and medical secretaries among others and has about 300,000 members.
