German grant draws Adwen to Bremerhaven

Despite the Danish government's plans to increase the number of slots at turbine test centers in Østerild and Høvsøre, one of Europe's largest wind turbine manufacturers has now opted to use a German testing facility.

Denmark recently announced the establishment of new testing areas for wind turbines, but Adwen has other plans for the company's new large, turbine AD 8-180. This is an offshore wind turbine with 8 MW capacity, one of the largest in the world, and the company will test it in Germany.
