Ikea buys 88 MW wind farm in Canada

Furniture retailer Ikea takes one more step towards covering all of its electricity needs with sustainable energy as the company buys its second wind farm in Canada in just a few years.

Swedish retail chain Ikea has now purchased its second wind farm in Canada for a total DKK 425 million (EUR 57 million) and the retail giant has thus progressed further in its ambitions to cover all of its electricity needs with renewable energy, writes Recharge News.
