GE has appointed Pete McCabe as new CEO of the Onshore Wind Business. He will take this position after serving just one year as vice president of Global Services Organization (GSO) under GE Transportaion. He will be taking over for Anne McEntee who will instead head a newly established service department covering both wind and hydropower; Renewable Energy Services Business, writes GE in a press release.
"The creation of a Services offering is critical for our business to be even smarter, more efficient and faster. I am confident that under Anne’s leadership our dedicated service business will continue to grow and I know that Pete, with his strategic problem-solving and willingness to embrace disruptive technology, is well suited to keep our Onshore Wind business on this positive track," says CEO of GE Renewable Energy, Jérôme Pécresse, in the statement.
