Sun and wind kick off sustainability boom in Saudi Arabia

The plan is for 9.5 GW in 2023 and Saudi Arabia is getting the ball rolling with tenders for 700 MW.

To reach its goal of 9.5 GW renewable energy in 2023, Saudi Arabia will have to invest USD 30-50 billion, mainly in wind and solar projects. The venture begins with two projects totaling 700 MW, writes Recharge.
