Key executive steps down from Vattenfall after just one year

He was the principal architect behind major growth in Denmark but he will no longer head Vattenfall's business in the small Scandinavian country. "Business is great, and I think it's the right time to go," says Ole Bigum Nielsen. He does not yet know what the future has in store for him.

No more than 15 months have passed since Ole Bigum Nielsen became country manager for Swedish Vattenfall in Denmark and thus took the reins of the energy major's Danish business.
