British solar giant in global growth

After the British government made drastic cuts to solar power subsidies in 2015, the UK's largest solar company has redirected focus on South America and Europe. The portfolio is growing at record speeds.

It came as a big surprise to the UK solar sector when the conservative government decided to drop national subsidies for solar panels in 2015. 12,000 jobs in the sector disappeared along with the subsidies, but now, one of the top players in the British solar power industry has returned to its former strength, reports The Guardian.
