German firm completes major farm with world's largest onshore turbines

The largest wind turbine project in the Netherlands is now fully operational after the inauguration of the third phase where 12 turbines grew capacity to six times its previous capacity across 50 turbines.

Wind turbine project Noordoostpolder was inaugurated Monday, a project which is remarkable for the industry due to several reasons.

Partly, the farm is the largest wind farm in the Netherlands with capacity of 430 MW.
