Vestas lands service deal for 557 MW

The turbine manufacturer has secured major, long-term service deals on a large fleet of turbines, including its own as well as turbines produced by competitors.

Vestas has signed this year's largest service agreement, announces the company.

The Danish turbine manufacturer has been awarded a contract for maintenance on Infigen Energy's six wind farms in Australia with total capacity of 557 MW. The contracts signed are of the large-scale contract type, AOM 5000 (Active Output Management), which take effect from the turn of the year and last from 7 to 15 years.
