Dong awards Siemens an order for 752 MW

Siemens Gamesa will supply the turbines for Dong Energy's Dutch Borssele projects.

Dong Energy has selected Siemens Gamesa to be the supplier for the Dutch offshore wind projects Borssele 1 and 2, announce both companies in statements.

This means 752 MW has been awarded to the turbine manufacturer. The double project, which is expected to begin operations by the end of 2020, will consist of 94 8 MW turbines to be constructed at the company's factories in British Hull and German Cuxhaven.
