US offshore wind industry warms up to British model

ANALYSIS: European wind turbine manufacturers and subcontractors will have to make big investments if they want a piece of the US offshore wind market. The first major joint ventures are right around the corner.

Multiple Danish subcontractors in the wind turbine industry are keeping busy these months getting to know the US states of Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. And several of the Danish wind turbine executives who have flown across the Atlantic Ocean, have arrived with both drafts as well as more comprehensive deals for future joint ventures with US manufacturing companies.
