Siemens Gamesa nabs Vestas order

The conditional flagship order awarded to Vestas by a South-East Asian capital fund has been snapped up by Siemens Gamesa, confirms the wind turbine manufacturer.

Indonesian offshore wind farm Tolo 1 will be equipped with Siemens turbines. Siemens Gamesa has confirmed that the manufacturer received a turnkey order from capital fund Equis Energy for 20 SWT 3.6 - 130 to the project in the South-European country. The installation will begin at the end of the year and is expected finished in early 2018, with a further five years of service included in the contract.
