NKT doubles operating result in wake of acquisition

The cable manufacturer is heavily impacted by the acquisition of ABB's high voltage division and has now named a date for an expected splitting of the company.

Danish cable manufacturer NKT has made sizeable gains in this year's second quarter across both the top and bottom lines.

The company lifted revenue 30 percent to EUR 288.1 million while the operating result was doubled to EUR 42.9 million EBITDA, shows the company's Q2 report.
