Europe's largest onshore wind project gets new manager

The long-serving head of wind at Statkraft will lead the day-to-day work of installing the world's largest Vestas farm.

278 Vestas turbines will now be installed under the leadership of a new executive. As of Aug. 15, Eivind Torblaa has taken up the role as head of operations for the company behind the Europe's largest onshore wind farm, Fosen Vind, which ahead to 2020 will install turbines with 1,001 MW capacity. He is replacing the current manager, Kristian Aa, announced Fosen Vind.
