
India's government is postponing a national 1 GW wind auction. The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), which is hosting the tender, had announced to potential bidders last Monday that the tender would take place on Tuesday, Sept. 19, but it will instead begin on Oct. 4, reports Indian new bureau PTI, citing unnamed sources in the government.
However, the India Times reports that the auction will be launched next week, citing comments from an anonymous authority source.
