Engie wants to install a gigawatt wind in India

The French utility will continue its green transition with a new joint venture aimed at installing a "robust pipeline" of Indian projects.

French Engie is joining forces with Dubai-based investment company Abraaj Group to construct an Indian wind platform. The two companies have "identified a robust pipeline of wind power projects representing over 1 GW in several key states" in India, writes Engie in a statement.
