
In terms of orders, GE was the top wind turbine manufacturer in the world in the latest quarter, reports Bloomberg.
The US media's data company New Energy Finance (NEF) estimates that orders totalling 6 GW were awarded from July to September. Of this, GE signed 31 percent of the orders adding up to approximately 1.86 GW, while Vestas signed 29 percent or approximately 1.74 GW.
