MHI Vestas to supply 950 MW offshore wind farm

MHI Vestas has been named as the wind turbine supplier for the new 950 MW offshore wind farm Moray East in the UK, securing the role as preferred supplier in at least two of the three projects in the latest British tender.

Danish-Japanese offshore wind manufacturer MHI Vestas has secured its largest order to date. MHI Vestas has confirmed to EnergyWatch that it has been nominated as supplier for EDPR and Engie's 950-MW offshore wind farm Moray East.

"MHI Vestas confirms that they has been selected as turbine provider for Moray East, providing 100 of our V164-9.5 MW turbines for the project," reveals a spokesperson from MHI Vestas to EnergyWatch.
