US wind developer appoints former Dong exec as CEO

Vineyard Wind is building strength in the battle to win offshore wind projects in the US pioneer state Massachusetts, and has now appointed a new chief executive officer and new CFO.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) continues to reshuffle the executive team, just days after recruiting Siemens Gamesa Offshore Wind CEO Michael Hannibal.

Now, subsidiary Vineyard Wind,  which is co-owned with Iberdola subsidiary Avangrid, is welcoming new execs as well. Lars Thaaning Andersen will serve as CEO, while Iain Hendersen will be the new chief financial officer, announces CIP.
