US firm to construct almost 8 GW of solar and wind power
By 2030, American Electric Power plans to have doubled its recent huge investment in wind, while the firm is further planning a development of almost 3 GW solar power.
US utility American Wind Power (AEP) aims to trim 60 percent from its CO2 emissions by 2030 and 80 percent by 2050.
