Norwegian cable resistance prompts fears of advantages for Denmark

Danish Viking Link has become a hot topic in Norway, where resistance to a similar cable between Norway and Scotland is growing. Advocates for the Norwegian cable fear that Denmark will end up reaping the financial benefits if the project does not go through.

In both England and Denmark, there has been increasing criticism of plans for the billion-dollar Viking Link connection between the two countries. In Norway, there is also resistance to a similar Norwegian project, NorthConnect, which will run between Norway and Scotland.
