UK energy heavyweights warn against customs on electricity and gas post Brexit

Heavy UK utilities are concerned about trade and investment in climate-friendly infrastructure projects after Brexit and warn against major consequences if the energy sector is struck by new customs fees.

The largest UK utilities have published an open letter to British Prime Minister Theresa May and EU Commission president Jean Claude Juncker claiming that investments in climate-friendly infrastructure projects will be negatively impacted if customs and other trade barriers are introduced post Brexit, reports news media Recharge.
