ABB considers selling its power grid division

Several Asian companies are reportedly in talks with the industrial conglomerate regarding the sale of its power grid division for a large sum in the double-digit USD billions.

Swiss-Swedish ABB may very well be in the midst of a massive divestment, reports both Reuters and Financial Times citing information from anonymous sources saying that the industrial conglomerate is in talks with potential buyers about the sale of its power grid business – a transaction said to be worth approximately USD 11-13 billion including debt.
