Utility offers reward for information on CFO acid attack

German utility Innogy is offering a reward of EUR 80,000 for information on the persons responsible for attacking the company's chief financial officer with acid earlier this year.

On a Sunday evening in March, Innogy Chief Financial Officer Bernhard Günter was walking home through a park in the Düsseldorf suburb Hann. His path was suddenly blocked by a young man just before another man came running from behind and threw Günter to the ground. The two men then poured acid onto Günter's face before fleeing the crime scence.
