New proposal aims to keep Ørsted's DSO in Danish hands

Danish party Enhedslisten (Red-Green Alliance) has made a parliamentary proposal that would require the country's government to demand Ørsted's DSO subsidiary, Radius, either be sold to a domestic energy cooperative or to the state-owned TSO, Energinet.

A new parliamentary proposal put forth by Danish political party Enhedslisten (Red-Green Alliance) seeks to require the country's government to demand that Radius, Ørsted's distribution system operator (DSO) subsidiary serving greater metropolitan Copenhagen and the upland region of eastern Zealand, either be sold to an energy company under cooperative ownership or to state-owned transmission system operator (TSO) Energinet.
