Northern German nuclear plants set domestic malfunction record

The German state Schleswig-Holstein was the unfortunate holder of the record for most incidents at nuclear power plants in 2018.

18 malfunctions were reported on nuclear facilities in the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in 2018, a year in which the number of incident reports was the highest ever in Germany, writes Danish newspaper Jydske Vestkysten.
