Bill Gates: No way around nuclear power in the US

In his annual newsletter, Microsoft-billionaire Bill Gates issued an appeal to US authorities to free-up funds and ease regulation in order to reap the potential of nuclear power.

There is no way around nuclear power if the US is to do its part for climate change mitigation.

At least according to IT-billionaire Bill Gates, who in his annual, public New Year's wrap-up urges decision-makers in the US to free-up further resources for research in the sector. He furthermore thinks current regulations need an update if the US and the rest of the world is to benefit more from the technology.
