Finnish Fortum declines on the bottom line
Fortum booked a smaller bottom line decline but expects substantially improved earnings in 2019 following the acquisition of Uniper.
Fortum's sales increased 16 percent in 2018, but the Finnish utility failed to raise earnings. Quite the opposite, the company's net result fell by 2 percent relative to the previous year.
