Statkraft drops Norwegian wind power
Norway's state-owned utility Statkraft is discontinuing future wind project in Norway. The decision conflicts with the company's prior announcement of domestic wind power being a central focus area.
Considering Statkraft's earlier statement that Norwegian wind power would one of its main investment areas, the utility's announcement of its domestic wind expansion coming to an end indeed comes as a surprise.
