BP takes a step backward

Despite increased production, the UK's largest energy company books a setback both on the bottom line and in revenue following the first quarter. But the company is satisfied with developments, all things considered.

BP's result for the first three months of 2019 reflects uncertain prices, which, however, are counterbalanced by strong supply and trade results, according to BP itself. The company, which is among the world's largest, books a slight setback in its interim report for Q1.
