Ørsted enters UK hydrogen endeavor

The Danish utility alongside its British partners has been allotted state funding for preliminary project studies aiming to reduce the costs of industrial scale electrolysis.

Theoretically, British hydrogen makes a lot of sense, seeing as the UK is the world's largest market for offshore wind, which in the future will deliver on a major scale to carbon-neutral production of the storage-friendly energy source.
