Fortum takes over majority position in Uniper

Finnish utility Fortum has finally succeeded in getting a majority stake in the German energy company.

After having held an equity position of 49.9 percent in German utility Uniper for quite some time and with the express wish to grab most of the cake, Finnish energy company Fortum has finally succeeded in doing so.
