Ørsted starts up US power trade

The Danish utility has opened a trading office in Chicago to trade electricity in the US and secure the best prices.

The first deals from Ørsted's Chicago office have already been closed, and trading will begin in earnest come November. The focus will initially be to sell power from Ørsted's own wind farms in the US, writes Danish business media Børsen.
