Major French utility boots CEO

After a longer period with rumors of in-house disquiet and the French state's dissatisfaction, domestic utility Engie declines to renew its contract with CEO Isabelle Kocher.

After four years leading Engie, Isabelle Kocher's chief executive tenure is now coming to an end. The French utility's board of directors has decided that "further development of the group’s strategy [requires] new leadership" and that the CEO's mandate will thus not be renewed after expiring in May.
