Engie's third-quarter earnings struck by Covid-19 pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has had a negative effect of EUR 150 million on the utility's third quarter and has mauled earnings by a billion euros since the health crisis began in early 2020.

French power utility Engie booked a decline in third-quarter earnings, which it attributes to the the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to squeeze both demand as well as electricity and gas prices, reports Bloomberg News.
