Biden administration has Ørsted CEO optimistic about US approval

Ørsted has now waited longer for an approval in the US than the company had hoped, but signs from the Biden administration have renewed the company's optimism, says CEO Mads Nipper. "Processes are now in motion," he says.

Optimism is greater now than it has been before in terms of the pending regulatory approvals in the US market, said Ørsted's new chief executive, Mads Nipper, who took over the reins at the Danish utility at the turn of the year, in connection with publishing the company's annual report.
